Plan B is an emergency medicine used for contraception process. It is an active birth controllable medicine that helps in preventing the unwanted case of pregnancy. The medicine Plan B is generally used post a session of unprotected sex. Plan B is also called as “morning after pill”. Dosage intake
One tablet of Plan B is to be consumed orally and within a period of 72 hours post the unprotected intercourse session or a case of failure of contraceptive product although the medicine is highly effective when taken within 24 hours. The 2nd tablet is to be consumed within a period of 12 hours post the consumption of first dose.

Plan B is not an abortion pill. The medicine helps in by causing: Prevention of the ovulation cycle thus causing discontinued method. Interference with the process of fertilization of eggs. The major process involves preventing and timely restriction of birth control and implantation of those eggs that are fertilized in the uterus by altering the lining.
