Ovral
Ovral medicine is an active contraceptive pill that is consumed orally to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. The medicine involves low dose combination of two (2) hormones in single pill. The medicine is guided for eliminating the doubt of having an unwanted level of pregnancy. Ovral medicine pack consist of a total of 21 hormone contain pills along with 7 (seven) placebo pills which are non hormonal kind so as to provide a withdrawal bleed on ending of every month cycle.

Dosage intake
For Ovral, it is guided to consume (2) two pills (white) within a period of 120 hours of unprotected type of intercourse and follow up with (2) two more pills (white) after a period of 12 hrs.
Every dose involve levonorgestrel of 0.5 mg and ethinyl estradiol 100 µg. The consumption pattern is oral and is recommended for quick consumption as it is highly recommended that the user gets to consume within a short period of time.
Pills action mechanism
The combination of ethinyloestradiol (artificial oestrogen) and norgestrel (Artifical Progestogen). These combination causes protection to the case of unwanted pregnancy. Ovral causes complete disruption of the normal menstrual and prevents the maturation of the egg from implanting and developing. The mechanism also involves active prevention of any development of endometrium thus disallowing the implantation process. The medicine also causes the cervical mucus to become a blockade to the sperm.
Side-effects
Majority of the women population are using Ovral as an active contraceptive with no occurrence of any medical issues. There are certain mild effects during the course such as headache, nausea, dizziness, etc. However, these mild effects are risk-free and short termed.
